The UK Border Agency at the British High Commission can be located opposite the Ghana Institute of Journalism and the Ghana International Press Centre.

Due to security reasons the following items will not be permitted inside the visa application centre or stored in the premises. Other items may be prohibited based on security staff discretion.
1.
All battery operated or electronic gadgets such as cameras, audio/video cassettes, compact discs, MP3's, floppies, laptops, or portable music players.
2.
All bags such as travel bags, back packs, briefcases, suitcases, leather, jute or cloth bags and zip folders. Only a plastic bag containing your application related papers would be permitted.
3.
Sealed envelopes or packages.
4.
Any inflammable item such as matchboxes/ lighters/ fuel etc.
5.
Any sharp objects such as scissors, pen knives or nail filers.
6.
Weapon or weapon like objects or explosive material of any kind.
Please note:There are no facilities at the visa application centre to store prohibited items. Applicants should make alternative arrangements to store their belongings.
Only applicants will be admitted to the visa application centre - with the exception of children who should be accompanied by a responsible adult; carers of disabled applicants and interpreters for the hearing-impaired.
The Data Protection Act prevents the UK Border Agency and VFS from providing information about a visa application to anybody other than the individual visa applicant or their authorised representative.
