TB testing and certification:

-	Is managed by the International Organisation for Migration (IOM);
-	Attendance is by appointment only and the full test fee is an equivalent of $60 USD paid in GH cedis at IOM exchange rate at the day of payment;
-	Upon testing you:

1) Either receive a certificate confirming your are free from infectious tuberculosis and proceed with your visa application

2) Or if you are found to be suffering from infectious TB, you will not receive a certificate, and you will therefore not be granted entry clearance for travel to the UK until the end of your treatment, after repeated examination at IOM clinic.

The TB testing consists of several steps:

-	Make an appointment by calling the following IOM phone numbers: 0244 335856, 0244 335857.
-	Come to IOM clinic at given date and time (please see the map/address below)
-	Undergo chest X-ray (except children below 11 years old) and Optional chest X-Ray OR Sputum smears for pregnant women; For applicants with TB signs on their chest X-rays, sputum smears will be required (over 3 consecutive days);
-	Receive the certificate (for TB-free applicants) OR be referred for TB treatment (for applicants with infectious TB)

The UK long-stay visa applicants will have to present the following at IOM clinic:

-	National passport and its photocopy for each applicant;
-	Two recent passport-size pictures for each applicant;
-	Birth certificates and its photocopies for children 0-15 years old applying for visa with you;
-	IOM service fee of $60 US dollars paid in GH cedis ONLY at IOM exchange rate at the day of payment.
