Visa Application Fees The visa application fee reflects the administrative costs of processing an application and is not refundable if your application is refused. You can pay your visa application fee in on of the two ways: 1. At a Guaranty Trust Bank (Ghana) Limited. These are contracted to collect visa application fees. Payment can be made at any of the 3 branches mentioned. 2. At the visa application centre. If paying at the visa application centre, a surcharge of 6 GHC (inclusive of VAT and NHIL) will be made. If an incorrect visa application fee is paid arrangements will be made either through the UK Border Agency or through VFS to refund the incorrect fee and arrange payment of the correct amount. All visa fees are applicable for each applicant (including children). All visas are for multiple entries for as long as the visa is valid. Important: Dependants are charged the same fee as the main applicant. All dependants who are travelling must pay the fee whether or not they are included in the main applicant's passport. Refunds: A fee will be refundable only if the application is withdrawn in writing prior to any processing of the application and biometrics have not been taken, or if the applicant refuses to provide biometrics. Refunds will not be given if long term visit visas are granted for less than the period applied for. These fees are effective for all visa applications made from 9 June 2010. The consular rate of exchange is 2.20 GHC to £1.
